Microtunnelling is an innovative boring method that allows a pipeline or jacking pipe to be laid in different subsoils without the need for costly trench excavation. Trenchless tunnelling requires only a small launch and target shaft, resulting in a significant advantage: the largescale sealing off of a construction site is no longer necessary. Microtunnelling, however, also places the highest demands on the equipment used. The drill heads in particular have to perform both heavy-duty and precision work in the smallest of spaces and in extremely diverse soil conditions – factors which we take repeatedly into account for maximum efficiency and reliability in the development of our drill heads and components.
